The Pendle YES Hub is a local support service for young people aged 16–24 who need help with finding work, learning new skills, or accessing education.
It is based in Nelson and focuses on supporting young people who face the greatest challenges, particularly those living in the most disadvantaged areas.
The hub offers personalised one to one support alongside group activities to help young people build confidence, develop skills, and address issues that may be holding them back. This includes access to specialist services such as mental health support, housing advice, and employability and skills development.
By working closely with local partners such as Pendle Borough Council, Jobcentre Plus (DWP), colleges, employers, and community organisations, the Pendle YES Hub helps young people move into employment, training, apprenticeships, or further education. Overall, the project aims to improve wellbeing, reduce barriers to opportunity, and support young people to move towards a more positive and independent future.
